Oppo is preparing to soon announce the Reno 8 series in China and Europe. The Reno 8 series is rumoured to contain three variants — Reno 8 Lite, Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro. The specifications of Reno 8 Lite and Reno 8 have already been leaked online, and now the Reno 8 Pro specifications are doing the rounds of the internet.
As per Digital Chat Station, a prominent tipster, the upcoming Reno 8 Pro might feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The OLED panel for the Reno 8 Pro is said to be sourced from BOE.
Under the hood, Reno 8 Pro would be powered by Mediatek’s Dimensity 8100 chipset paired with Oppo’s in-house MariSilicon X Image Signal Processor (ISP). The smartphone might boast a 4500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. The Reno 8 Pro is expected to come with dual speakers and an X-linear vibration motor.
Turning it around, you would find a triple rear camera setup led by a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS. The other two sensors could be an ultrawide and a telephoto sensor. On the front, the smartphone would have a 32MP camera for selfies.
The tipster says the Reno 8 Pro might weigh 180 grams and would be 7.34mm thick. If rumours are to be believed, then it is expected to have the same design as the OnePlus 10 Pro. The Reno 8 is said to come in Black, Gray and Green colour options.
