OnePlus has been busy lately with multiple product launches. Earlier, the company launched its first flagship smartphone of 2022 — the OnePlus 10 Pro – and later it also launched another premium device the OnePlus 10R. Not just that as two other affordable products — the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite handset and the OnePlus Nord Buds earbuds – were also launched in the country. The Chinese smartphone maker is now planning to introduce another Nord device which is going to be the Oneplus Nord 2T smartphone. There have been a lot of speculations around this device and now key details of the upcoming smartphone have been revealed online.
According to GSMArena, a YouTuber has published a hands-on review of the upcoming handset. The report suggests that the video shows camera samples, benchmarks and gaming tests to reveal the capability of the next OnePlus Nord series smartphone. Recently, there were other reports of the company developing a special edition for the OnePlus Ace device that was earlier released in China.
OnePlus Nord 2T expected specifications
The report suggests that the device shown in the video featured a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. As per the report, the OnePlus 2T is expected to pack the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset and the model in the video packed 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The device in the video was the Shadow colour variant.
The OnePlus 2T shown in the video sports a triple rear camera setup that included — 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP monochrome sensor. In the front, the device houses a 32MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.
The report claimed that the handset in the video packed a 4,500 mAh battery unit that supports 80W fast charging. Moreover, the smartphone was running OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12 out-of-the-box.
