Honor is gearing up for the launch of another X series smartphone lineup in China — the Honor X40. The company introduced the Recognize X30 Max and Honor X30i powered by the MediaTek Dimensity chipset last year in October.
The Shenzhen-based smartphone manufacturer has confirmed that the X40 series will release on September 15 within China through a Weibo post. The poster teased by the company suggests the X40 series will also support 5G connectivity. Honor is yet to reveal the price and other details about the X40 series smartphones.

Honor X30 Max features a 7. 9-inch Full HD+ display with a 1080×2280 pixels resolution alongside a water drop-style notch. The handset features a dual rear camera setup that includes a 64MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The front houses a 8MP selfie shooter. The phone is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset paired with 8GB RAM. The mobile phone packs a 5000mAh battery capacity with 22. 5W fast charger.
Honor X30i: Specifications
The Honor X30i features a 6. 7-inch Full HD+ display with a 1080×2388 pixels resolution. The handset features a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary sensor, 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. It has the hole-punch cutout that houses an 8MP sensor for clicking selfies and doing video calls. The phone packs a 4000mAh battery capacity with 22. 5W fast charging support.
