Google has launched the Google Pixel 6a smartphones at its annual I/O event. The smartphone is an affordable variant of its flagship smartphone, Google Pixel 6 series that was launched in October last year. The new smartphone joins the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro in the lineup. The new Google Pixel 6a is powered by the company’s in-house tensor chipset. Google Pixel 6a succeeds Google 5a that launched in August 2021. Incidentally none of the Pixel 5 and Pixel 6 series phones launched in India. However, as per a report by Android Central Google Pixel 6a will be sold in India later in 2022.
