Realme positions itself as the country’s number one smartphone brand and introduces innovative devices such as the realme watch 2 Pro. They have been releasing smartwatches since 2020 and amassed great reviews from their customers so far. Today, the brand officially launched its latest model in PH– dubbed as professional sports and fitness companion.

What we’ve heard so far is that you can charge this watch for just every two weeks! If you want to know more about this latest release, we’ve gathered the most important details and features on why you should have one today.

What we love about it

I am digging the black unit I got today. The realme Watch 2 Pro features a massive 1.75” Ultra Large Display and offers vivid visuals. It also has a 24/7 blood oxygen and heart rate monitor and supports up to 90 kinds of sports modes – so this one is an ideal watch for busy, on-the-go, and active individuals.

I tried using the Spo2 function, and I was impressed with the precision and quick results. When you buy the real Watch 2 Pro, the package comes with a smartwatch, charging base, and a user manual.

While wearing it for a few days now, I also noticed that it has high resistance to scratches which is a huge plus for me since I move a lot.

What amazed me the most is that the realme Watch 2 Pro can detect whether you are walking and running while providing an accurate step counting algorithm. Lastly, it also has interesting functions such as the hydration reminder, goal achievement reminder, and it also reminds you to slow down, meditate and relax.

The realme Watch 2 can also control the music player on your phone. I can pause and play music when they are running in just a few swipes. It also has a camera shutter feature, you can use your watch as your shutter button and take photos of yourself using your mobile phone even when you are alone.

Other features include a high-precision dual satellite GPS and a heavy-duty battery life lasting up to 14 days – as it’s packed with a 390mAh high-efficiency battery. However, I’m still yet to try this for the next two weeks if it really promises the mentioned battery life.

Setting it up

Setting the realme Watch 2 Pro is easy. You have to click the button on the left side, get your smartphone and download the realme link in Google Play Store or App Store if you’re an ios user. You can also scan the QR code to download the link.

After I successfully paired the watch on my phone, I immediately received the WeChat notifications, which were really impressive.

It is also worth mentioning that realme Watch 2 Pro has been adapted to almost all third-party apps for smart notification, including the most commonly used tools such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and more.

Although I haven’t seen the other bands yet, the manual says that you can change the band by sliding the spring pin and holding it to remove the band from the watch. So versatile, isn’t it?

I appreciate gadgets that help me track my wellness journey, and this realme Watch 2 Pro is an innovative watch you should have right now. It helps count your steps throughout the day, the calories you burn, the distance you walked, and the activity record you did for the day.

Now that there is still a pandemic, the features that stand out to me were the blood oxygen and the heart rate monitoring, so I could stay updated on what’s happening in my body. Definitely a great buy this year!
